His ascending sign is Pisces. These people are usually born with an artistic gift and sensitivity, which allows them to have a romantic outlook on life. These people also have tender feelings that are moved by a variety of things like lost animals and unhappy people.
Blood Type: O+
Likes: Haru loves to tend to his gardens at the back of his house. He enjoys the beauty of the many different-colored blossoms and treats his plants as if they were jewels. Also, he loves having an intelligent and philosophical conversation with someone else, since he desires to share his opinions with others. Because of his desire for knowledge, you can most likely find Haru reading in his garden underneath the tree with some food beside him so he doesn’t have to move until he’s finished. It relaxes him when he’s absorbed in a good book and drowns out the world around him. Also, he has a passion for the battle, even though he doesn’t show it that often because of personal reasons.
Dislikes: Sometimes Haru wishes he wasn’t sensitive about things. Even though he covers up when he’s hurt, it doesn’t work too well. He really doesn’t like it when people call him a wimp and then he feels he has to prove himself, although he always feels bad afterwards. Also, he doesn’t like it when people trample over flowers or plants, because he has respect for all life and he wishes he could do something about it. Haru hates it when his father thinks he will never become a great warrior, preferring other things in life over fighting, since he hardly sees his son’s passion for battle. Fujita just doesn’t understand his son is afraid of what his passion and adrenaline rush will do to him. But most of all, he hates the demands being made on him to be King. Even though everything is still hectic, Haru hardly has time to walk to his cottage let alone stay there. And each day that passes, he worries about his precious orchard and how it’s doing.
Hobbies: One of Haru’s favorite hobbies is gardening. He loves to get down and dirty with the soil and feel it between his fingers as he’s giving life to plants. Another of his favorite hobbies, and this is very obvious, is having good conversations with others. He’ll chatter on for hours with someone on a topic he has knowledge about, comparing and contrasting ideas with them. Another thing he loves to do is go for walks through the Emeraldu jungles, where he’s known by most of the creatures there and they give him his space and their respect. If you catch him on a day where he’s at the palace, he’ll be doing push-ups in the courtyards while reading a book on etiquette or boxing while going over facts in his head. It’s not one of his favorite hobbies, but it’s something he does on a regular basis.
Goals: Now that he’s got his goal of being Floraemerald completed, he’s set out to complete his other goals. Haru’s other goal is to one day become a famous botanist and using his love of plants to try and find cures for some of the sicknesses people get. And even though he really hates the demands made on him for becoming king, he wants to be a good one, so that’s why he puts up with it.
Good points: Haru is the one you can go to if you want a lively conversation. He is a great conversationalist and never makes a person feel stupid. Also, he’s got a great zest for battle, but prefers to just train by himself. Not only that, he’s got a great way of making people feel better about themselves, since he doesn’t like to see anyone depressed.
Flaws: Haru can sometimes be too sensitive about some things, and he’ll take anything anyone says about him to heart. He’s also very forgetful when it comes to something he doesn’t enjoy, which is why he studies constantly about the things he’s required to know in order to be King. When you look at him, at first impression, he seems rather dirty and common, since his hands are almost always covered in soil, and he gets dirty from gardening and sweats a lot from training.
Appearance:
Hair: Deep emerald green hair falls around Haru’s ears in a shaggy-looking style and his bangs constantly get in his face. He’s got to work on growing them because he wants his bangs to be able to frame his face, but be long enough so he can pull them back. So right now, they just hang in his face and can sometimes cause a hindrance in battle, but Haru stubbornly refuses to cut them.
Eyes: Haru has emerald green eyes, almost dark enough to blend in with the smoky green of his irises. They’re wide and always alight with curiosity and interest, and are often in a gentle expression. He has dark eyelashes, but they’re very fine and thin, you’re hardly able to see them.
Face: Haru has a heart-shaped face with high cheekbones, his complexion is a golden-brown and his eyebrows are thick and dark. They add to when he gazes at someone with fierceness or intensity. His lips are full and plump, making his mouth look very sensuous to some women.
Voice: When Haru is reading to his brothers, his voice becomes softer, gentler, and unlike the normal deep and ringing tones he has when he’s having a good debate. He can sing, but it’s off-key and he only does it when he thinks no one is listening to him. Haru is very sure in his way of speaking except when he’s trying to explain something, then he’ll stumble a bit.
Build: Haru stands at 6’0" in height and he carries himself with an air of strength and confidence. This guy radiates his high self-esteem in his very stride. He’s got a muscular body from training in his life, and the occasional neighborhood scuffle or two, ripped arms, and a sculpted chest. Across this chest, he has a long scar from where his father slashed through his armor when they were sparring. He’s also got one on his cheek from falling out of a tree, others from fights with other boys, but even though he covers them up, he’s secretly proud of them.
Clothing: Since Haru’s clothes are going to end up torn and dirty anyway, he wears sturdy and comfortable black boots, a baggy bottle green shirt, and bottle green pants. All are made of the most durable material he can find, and he tries not to get them too torn since he can’t sew for beans and has to bring them to someone else to have them fixed but something always happens and they end up ripped. Oh, and we can’t forget the emerald necklace he wears around his neck, and the emerald stud earring he has in his left ear.
Besides his basic outfit, Haru can dress up if he wants to or ever needs to. He'll wear mostly green clothing at formal events, although he'll toss in some black and silver too. His other outfits are basically the same: pants, shirt, boots, and sometimes gloves. But he never forgets his earring or his emerald necklace, since he wears both at all times.
Personality:
Usual Moods: Usually Haru is bright and optimistic, but his mood will change in the situation. When he’s meeting new people, he tends to be nervous and will babble a bit until he calms down. At other times when he’s insulted, he’ll become sullen, silent, and withdrawn. He doesn’t like it when people make fun at him when he’s trying to be himself, and sometimes he can’t tell if they’re just joking or not, so he manages to keep quiet and observe them, waiting to see if he can get a better grip on their personality and if they’re being true.
At other times, when Haru is alone or with his family, he’ll let go of all inhibitions and just be himself. He’s warm and caring and will still joke and talk freely with the people he cares about and relax a bit more. And when he’s in the heat of battle, he’s all business, fighting with his heart and his head to determine the opponent’s weak spot and then playing on that to defeat them.
Character Interaction: Haru loves to be around people; he works with people a lot better than if he were alone, but only with people who understand his love for beauty, life, and secretly for the battle. He uses his wit to weed out those who he thinks wouldn’t understand him and his heart to try and find a good person, and uses his sense of humor to see if they can take and dish out jokes. Still, he likes his solitary time where he can gather his thoughts and just be around his plants, and when he’s not at the palace, his family.
He’ll try to make as many friends as he can, but he’ll keep his heart reserved for judgment until later. Besides, he doesn’t always make a lot of friends because people see him as a chatterbox. He won’t risk his heart to a stranger, so he hides his true self and tends to babble on when he’s nervous. Plus, if he’s working with his teachers on what he needs to know to be King, he’ll fidget a bit and stumble on his words because the teachers make him nervous.
Personal Interaction: When Haru is by himself or with family, he lets go of all inhibitions and is just himself. He’ll tend to his plants, humming to himself in a slightly off-key manner, and just enjoys the sun in the sky, the dirt in his hands, and the lightness in his heart. When he’s working in his gardens, or training in the courtyard, he’ll forget all about the time and go home or to his palace lessons only when he’s too stiff and sore to do anything but sit and listen to lectures.
When Haru goes to visit his family, he’s bright and cheerful, bringing over presents and good wishes. Haru’s a big family man and visits his family whenever he finds the time. He loves playing with his little brothers and sparring with his father when he’s challenged to it, and eating his mother’s home cooking. He always leaves with promises to come back.
Way of Life: Haru’s motto is: "Life is short, live each day as if it were your last." He lives his life day-to-day, trying to make some impact in his life. Because of his day-to-day life, he doesn’t have any set plans for his future, but has an idea of what he would like to do, just not how to get to it.
